Aditi Rao

Global Health Analyst

As Equalize Health’s Global Health Analyst, Aditi is responsible for deepening our understanding of global health issues around the world and bringing high-quality medical technologies to low-resource environments. Aditi supports the Impact and Sourcing & Evaluation teams in screening potential projects for further development and estimating the impact of these solutions.

Aditi has a background in medical anthropology and experience working in global health research and practice, across diverse contexts in Asia and Africa. Before Equalize Health, Aditi worked as a Research Associate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she supported the translation of knowledge assets from the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, as well as the development of core implementation research competencies to enable effective delivery of health services and programs, and guide training programs. Aditi is interested in researching strategies for equitable implementation of health interventions, adapting global health policies to local health systems, and evaluating behavioral dimensions of program adoption. She also deeply enjoys ethnographic and qualitative research.

Aditi grew up in New Delhi, India, and has since also lived in China, England, and the US. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Durham University and an MPH in Global Health from Johns Hopkins University. Aditi’s favorite part of working at Equalize Health is their impact-driven ethos and interdisciplinary thinking. Outside of Equalize Health, Aditi enjoys listening to and playing music, learning new sports and skills, and exploring new places. She is also an avid reader, loves ice cream, and more than anything else, loves to spend time with her dogs.
