As Equalize Health’s Program Associate for ECHO, Akansha is responsible to execute and provide operational support to coordinate the program ECHO and engage with different stakeholders. She understands the medically deprived condition of rural communities and importance of Public Health for a developing country, and it is her aim to serve the underprivileged population in the best possible way. Akansha comes from Bihar, a land known for its rich history and culture. She has also lived in Delhi and Bangalore for her education and work. Akansha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Delhi University, with a Masters degree in Development from Azim Premji University. During her Masters, she interned with Save the Children on the Stop Diarrhoea Initiative for U5. She has also interned with BOSCH on two of their CSR projects. Before joining Equalize Health, Akansha worked with the American India Foundation where she was supporting AIFs Public Health State projects and looking over at the Monitoring and Evaluation segment of the projects. Akansha’s loving and caring nature is a driving force in both her personal and professional life. When she’s not working, she enjoys traveling and taking up calligraphy projects.
