As Program Associate for ECHO, Nayanshree Singh works closely with the program team to plan, implement and evaluate activities of Equalize Health’s tele-mentoring program which is designed for creating a knowledge network of healthcare providers working in maternal and child health in India. Nayanshree completed her MPH with specialization in Sexual and Reproductive Health from G.D. Goenka University, Gurugram. Prior to working with Equalize Health, Nayanshree worked for USAID, UKaid and Terre des homes funded (Tdh) projects related to RMNCHA. She also has experience of working with the Department of Health Services under the Ministry of Health and Population of Nepal.
Describing herself as a women’s rights advocate, Nayanshree is originally from Kathmandu, Nepal. She is passionate about bringing change in the public health system and addressing the prevalent barriers. She believes that improving maternal health would help in creating a healthier population. Besides her work, she enjoys cooking, gardening, watching movies, hiking and traveling.
